If you have scleroderma, you are not alone.
The National Institutes of Health, America’s
leading supporter of medical research,
estimates that approximately 300,000
suffer from scleroderma-related disorders.

The first time many people hear about scleroderma is when they or a family member or friend are diagnosed with the disease. Scleroderma is a complex and surprisingly widespread illness, affecting as many people as more commonly recognized diseases such as multiple sclerosis and muscular dystrophy.

In addition to funding groundbreaking research, the Scleroderma Research Foundation provides information that may help scleroderma patients to better understand their disorder and more effectively manage its signs and symptoms.

To learn more about the various forms and subtypes of scleroderma, read what is scleroderma? In living with scleroderma and treatment information, the Scleroderma Research Foundation provides valuable information for patients to educate themselves, as well as their caretakers and loved ones, about this serious disease.

If you have scleroderma-related questions, please feel free to contact the Scleroderma Research Foundation. Please remember, specific medical advice can only be provided by your health care professional.
